Over the last few months we have been working with Erin on strategies for the development and growth of our board of directors.  It has been one of the best experiences Ive ever had working with a consultant and a very wise investment for our organization.  Erin’s experience and success in leading one of the largest nonprofits in America enables her to have a genuine understanding of the needs and challenges faced by nonprofits, as well as an arsenal of practical solutions and effective strategies.  She is extremely intelligent, insightful and professional and took the time to understand our mission and vision as an organization before jumping into recommending strategies. Throughout this entire process Erin has worked side-by-side with us on everything from tailoring action plans to having difficult and direct conversations with board members, to facilitating a very productive 1-day board retreat.  We have received incredibly positive feedback from our board members and they are even more engaged and excited about their role and the impact they will have on our mission.

Partnering with Erin is an absolute no-brainer. She has become one of the most valuable members of our team and I’m not sure what we did without her. Her guidance in building a strategic development plan added much needed organization, professionalism, and accountability to our fundraising efforts. Her innate ability to activate and truly engage supporters within our already existing network has resulted in substantial revenue for the organization’s mission. Not to mention, she is a joy to work with!

Southland Strategies worked with us to build a strategic program for our advisory board retreat. Erin helped to ensure the time was impactful and that we reached the goals that were set for retreat to expand the board’s engagement in our mission. Erin is strategic and insightful and we look forward to working with her again in the future!
